Falcon

The fully automated Falcon test system brings speed, high throughput and flexibility to In-Line test for high volume production. Its modular concept enables both In-Circuit and Functional tests. With its slim-line dimensions and SMEMA standard interface Falcon is compatible with most production lines and can be easily integrated. Its high speed fixture changing capabilitiy make it ideal for "high mix" manufacturing. The MTS Falcon is particularly suitable for production environments with high throughput and/or for high mix.

The Falcon test system offers standard MDA test functions such as pass/fail, missing or misplaced components and opens and shorts, while a full range of In-Circuit Test capabilities provide comprehensive test coverage.

The system includes also functional test modules: Memory Programming and Flash, Timer Counter, Current Source and Measurement, Free Relay Module and Open Collector making this system versatile and fast.

The system is available with up to 512 (1024 XL-option) analog or 256 (512 XL-option) hybrid pins. The two systems differs in the pin layout and therefore the fixture "pressing" mechanism.

Program development, program debugging and fault localization software come as standard with the Falcon. The easy handled graphical interface ensures accurate interpretation of test results.

All of this is packed into a system with compact footprint and makes high volume and high mix eminently affordable for an In-Line test strategy.
